 Mr. Pollard has over 15 years in the medical device space with a focus on company leadership overseeing regulatory and clinical affairs activities. At Biologics, Sam serves as the business unit leader of the Medical Device team. Prior to joining Biologics, Sam led JAPAC Operations for IQVIA MedTech and served as the General Manager and Representative Director for Vorpal Technologies, K.K., where he oversaw company operations across the JAPAC region with a focus on PMDA and MHLW submissions in Japan for new medical devices. During his tenure, Sam oversaw the integration of Vorpal Technologies with MCRA, LLC. following its acquisition and led the company to double digit annual revenue growth over 4 years. Prior to his JAPAC regional role at MCRA, Sam led the regulatory activities for a wide array of novel technologies for FDA and CE Mark submissions, including leading and authoring a multitude of 510ks, PMAs, De Novos, and CERs. Sam has a degree in Bioengineering and is RAC certified.
