Dr. Edward (Teddy) R. Zartler has over two decades of experience in large molecule drug development. He received his B.A in Chemistry from Goucher College and M.S. and Ph.D in Chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania. His post-doctoral work examined protein hyperthermostability using NMR.  He started his career at Eli Lilly & Co., followed by positions at Merck, Pfizer, Catalent, SGS, Molecular Templates, Kiniksa, Hillevax, and as a consultant. In his twenty five years in the industry, he has worked across a wide range of modalities, primarily vaccines and therapeutic proteins, leading diverse groups in CMC Operations.  He has deep expertise in analytical and formulation from early development to commercial.  He has edited two books: one on Fragment-based Drug Discovery and one Biophysics in Drug Development.  He has been an invited speak at conferences on three continents.
