Ms. Vashio joined Biologics Consulting in January 2021 and has over 30 years of regulatory affairs expertise, including management experience in government and private sectors. She has direct experience in drugs, biologics, medical devices, manufacturing, and compliance. Ms. Vashio previously worked for Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research (FNLCR) as a Clinical Data Abstraction Team Manager and gained experience in clinical trial processing.
Prior to FNLCR, she worked at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for 28 years assigned to CDER, CBER, CDRH, ORA, and supported Oncology Center of Excellence. Ms. Vashio also worked at National Institutes of Health, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases in vaccine development. She retired at the rank of Captain from the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps.
Ms. Vashio is a pharmacist and understands the importance of regulated products for patients and consumers. She worked in hospital and retail settings including Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (formerly known as National Naval Medical Center) in Bethesda, MD; and U.S. Army Reserve assignments.
Ms. Vashio received her B.S. in Pharmacy from Albany College of Pharmacy, Albany, NY. She holds certifications in Legislative Studies, Regulatory Affairs (US and EU), and Strategic Management.
